Hello there! I’m Carl, and I’m thrilled to share a bit about myself with you. Ever since I can remember, I've had a true love for reptiles and all sorts of animals. It’s been quite the journey! With my certificate in animal care, habitat, and welfare, I’ve been lucky enough to get hands-on experience with a fantastic variety of creatures during my time as an animal technician. At home, my wife Jenny and I have had the pleasure of sharing our lives with quite an eclectic mix of pets, from snakes and lizards to our beloved dogs and cats. Together, we founded CJ's, which is a charming little name made up of our initials, and it perfectly captures our mission as a family-run organisation devoted to reptile rescue, rehoming, and education. Our home has turned into a lovely sanctuary for all sorts of reptiles, amphibians, rodents, and mammals. We welcome them into our hearts as cherished family members. As a fully registered not-for-profit company with Companies House, we love connecting with schools, care homes, private gatherings, and corporate events to showcase our furry and scaly pals. We believe in hands-on experiences to help people appreciate the unique needs of these incredible creatures. What’s more, we’re always ready to extend a helping hand to other reptiles in need, offering them a safe place for rehabilitation and guiding them toward finding their forever homes. Our passion comes from a heartfelt wish to make a positive difference in the lives of these vulnerable animals, ensuring they get all the care and love they truly deserve.
